Jayne Ritchie
Dear Clarkecare
I’m writing on behalf of my mum, Beryl- Mum would have written similar if she could…
Kaja, Rochelle, Julia, – I would like to express our deepest thanks for the abundant kindness, care and concern you gave to each of us, especially mum.
Each member provided dependable, thoughtful and loving care. We so appreciate your devotion and attention to detail, even when expectations/situations were more than challenging. Honestly, we never could have had her home for so long without your cheerful support.
We hold each one of you in such high regard. We hope you know your work is respected and so appreciated. We would recommend you to anyone looking for quality caregiving. Thank you for all you do and for the positive impact you have on the clients/families in your care as we are witnesses to that.
Thank you all for being such careful listeners. Your support and understanding helped us through. Such a blessing when we needed it most.
We are so thankful for your wonderful caregiving. Mum and I were touched every day by your kindness and thoughtfulness as we shared important moments and made memories to cherish forever.
Providing at-home care to Beryl on the scale that you have done, I believe, wholeheartedly, is why Beryl is still with us today.
We know you will continue to care with kindness, continue to be careful listeners and aim to be a blessing to families as they are walking through difficult times.
To Kaja- you’ve been with Mum since day one. We’ve laughed – until we’ve cried with laughter. So many times to mention, those memories are embedded and are now part of my life – a beautiful impact on my life to have. I’ll never forget you Kaja. I’ll never forget your panic, after accidentally putting all of Mums money notes into the washing machine! Each note you laid flat to dry…all 200 of them!!! It’s a wonder those notes survived in the washer – Mum must have counted it, lost it, had us looking for it a billion times! The times we couldn’t help but giggle or burst into laughter when we really shouldn’t have but we couldn’t help ourselves…I’ll let you think about those times! I do hope your plans of becoming a Social Care Worker comes to fruition. Go for it, you have lots and lots of experience under your belt after caring for my Mum and me! We miss you already…
To Julia – oh my, apart from being such a sweet, passionate person – I will never forget when you fell through the bathroom chair whilst hanging the washing up. You were so apologetic for breaking the chair and pulling down the shower rail/curtain from the ceiling! I was just so very pleased that you were okay and not hurt. We can always replace furniture/fixings but we’ll never be able to replace YOU…Your phrase, “your so funny Jayne” will stay with me forever! Your plans to be able to travel the world are amazing. Keep saving your money and you’ll do it!
To Rochelle – I am so very happy that you have chosen to continue to care for mum. I know it wasn’t a light decision to make as you’ve been happy working with Clarkecare. I feel you are very much appreciated by all and each of us know how much you love a challenge, willing to try something new…that drive along with that passion you have will help you go far. I’m glad I’ll still be making you a coffee…!
To Danielle, Lauren and Louise – You’ve continued to strive to provide the best care to suit Mums needs. You have some amazing carers who are dedicated and passionate in their roles. A massive thank you for all you have done.
Wishing you all a very bright and prosperous future…
Beryl and Jayne xx
